Treading Lightly Through Heavy Times: The Challenge of Holding the Peace

     Welcome to the middle of 2020, the year where all that you thought could only happen in a sci-fi / horror novel is happening before our very eyes, being watched on the news, social media, and of course many being affected directly in different ways.  It's also the year where being a peacekeeper takes more courage than to just pick a side and it's more daring to tread lightly than to join the bandwagon of fear, anger, hatred and finger pointing going on right now.  Image by Comfreak from Pixabay      Many might already say that people like me are part of the problem because I'm not choosing a side or "taking a stand".   Well, too bad they can't see that I actually am taking a stand.  And that is in the middle ground, the only place where peace can exist, trying to see eye to eye from both sides.  Many who are on the polarized point of view will see this and quite possibly go as far as unfriend me but that's okay.  I ...
